Registration Policies

Early Registration ends on May 31, after which the Regular Registration rates will apply.  On and after the second class session, a Late Fee of $50 is added to the tuition.
Your registration will not be finalized until the school receives both the registration information and the registration fees.

Preference for Returning Students

We grant preference to classroom space for returning students who register during early registration, by May 31.

Preschool-age Applicants

Our Kindergarten class is structured to serve as a 2-year program, covering the American Pre-K and Kindergarten school years.  All children of preschool-age entering our Kindergarten class must be 4 years old by September 30th and toilet-trained. It is recommended that they have preschool, playgroup, or daycare experience.

Individualized Education Program (IEP)

If your child is on an Individualized Education Program (IEP) in his or her regular school, please note this on your enrollment form and provide the principal with a copy of the IEP documentation before the beginning of the school year for evaluation.

Beginners

Students without previous knowledge of German will only be accepted until the 3rd day of class. Advanced level students, both children, and experienced adults may join a class at a later time at the discretion of the school administration.

Small Classes

The administration reserves the right to combine or cancel classes based on enrollment and teacher availability.

Late Pick-up Policy Fee

If a parent has not picked up a child within 10 minutes after the classes’ scheduled end time, a $1.00 per minute late fee is charged for late pickups.

Other Fees

Textbooks: The cost of required textbooks is in addition to tuition.  In some cases, books may be ordered through the school, but it is also possible to order books independently.  Links are provided above.

Registration fee: The tuition price includes a non-refundable $50 registration fee.

Late fee: A $50 late fee is applied to registrations and tuition payments on or after the second session of classes.

Become involved!

Our school works so well because of the involvement of parents. We have many areas where parents can contribute and help run our school, from working in the library, organizing events as well as helping with administrative and fundraising tasks.
